Thomas Jarzombek started an IT service company in 1996 while being a student of Economics, and is still a partner of the firm. He has been politically active for more than 25 years, for example as a member of the City Council of Düsseldorf as well as member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. In 2009, 2013 and 2017 he was elected to the German Bundestag. Since 2014, Thomas Jarzombek is the Chairman of the CDU Düsseldorf and the Spokesperson of the CDU/CSU-parliamentary group in the Digital Agenda Committee of the Bundestag. He is also member of the Committee on Transport and Digital Infrastructure.

Thomas Jarzombek hat sich während des Studiums der Wirtschaftswissenschaften 1996 mit einem IT-Dienstleistungsunternehmen selbstständig gemacht und ist bis heute Gesellschafter einer Firma für IT-Services. Politisch ist er seit über 25 Jahren aktiv, war unter anderem Mitglied des Düsseldorfer Stadtrates sowie des Landtags von Nordrhein-Westfalen. Bei den Bundestagswahlen 2009, 2013 und 2017 wurde er direkt in den Deutschen Bundestag gewählt. Seit 2014 ist Thomas Jarzombek Kreisvorsitzender der CDU Düsseldorf und Sprecher der Arbeitsgruppe Digitale Agenda der CDU/CSU-Fraktion im Deutschen Bundestag.
