Thomas Hacker, MdB ist Obmann im Ausschuss für Kultur und Medien und medienpolitischer Sprecher der FDP Bundestagsfraktion.
Geboren am 9. Oktober 1967 in Bayreuth, erlangte er sein Abitur und absolvierte daraufhin den Wehrdienst. Nach der Lehre zum Bankkaufmann, absolvierte er ein Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre und legte die Steuerberaterprüfung ab. Zwischen 2008 und 2013 war er Fraktionsvorsitzender der FDP im Bayerischen Landtag. In seiner Heimatstadt Bayreuth ist Thomas Hacker Stadtrat und Fraktionsvorsitzender der FDP/DU. Seit 2013 ist Thomas Hacker Präsident der Thomas-Dehler-Stiftung. Im Zuge seines Mandates im 19. Deutschen Bundestag vertritt Thomas Hacker die FDP Bundestagsfraktion nicht nur im Bereich Kultur und Medien, sondern auch als Ordentliches Mitglied im Europaausschuss.
Born on October 9, 1967, in Bayreuth, Germany, he graduated from high school and completed his military service. After completing an apprenticeship as a banker, he studied business administration and passed the tax consultant examination. Between 2008 and 2013 he was the Parliamentary Party Leader of the FDP in the Bavarian Parliament. In his hometown of Bayreuth, Thomas Hacker is a Member of the Bayreuth City Council and Chairman of the FDP/DU Council Group. Thomas Hacker has been President of the Thomas Dehler Foundation since 2013. In the course of his mandate in the 19th German Bundestag, Thomas Hacker represents the FDP Parliamentary Group not only in the field of culture and media, but also as a Member of the Committee on European Union Affairs.
