Valerie Mocker

Valerie Mocker ist Vorkämpferin für eine Digitalisierung, von der alle profitieren. Sie ist Direktorin bei Nesta, dem Fonds für soziale Innovationen und dazu gefragte Rednerin im In- und Ausland.
Valerie wurde in die "40 unter 40"-Liste deutscher Führungskräfte des Capital Magazins aufgenommen. Bevor Valerie 2013 zu Nesta in London stieß, arbeitete sie im Technologie-, Innovations- und Policy-Bereich in Deutschland, Spanien, Peru und Großbritannien und forschte im Bereich Verhaltensökonomie. Valerie hat zwei Abschlüsse (summa cum laude) von der University of Oxford.

            

Valerie is campaigning for a future that belongs to everyone. At the Nesta foundation, one of Europe’s leading social innovation funds, Valerie and her team build new funds and programmes that unlock the opportunities of digitalisation for the public in Europe. She previously set up a range of pan-European policy programmes, for example networks that help governments design more inclusive digital skills policies or enable more impactful corporate-startup collaborations to tackle important social challenges. Before joining Nesta in 2013, Valerie worked on innovation and behavioural economics in Germany, Spain, Peru and the UK. Valerie is part of the "40 under 40" list for German leaders by Capital magazine. She holds two degrees (both summa cum laude) from the University of Oxford.
